How do I know if I am the beneficiary of a life insurance policy?
Thrivent reaches out to the beneficiaries once all necessary information is received to report the death. This process is typically complete within 10 business days.
When should I file a long-term care claim?
The claim should be filed when care is being received. Details about benefits and eligibility requirements can be found in your contract. Your claim coordinator can also walk you through the eligibility requirements.
When should I file a disability claim?
File a claim within 90 days from the date of disability using the Disability Income Claim Form. Thrivent will also accept notice from the Thrivent financial professional or the spouse of the insured. Submit the claim form via fax or mail:

Is there a time limit for filing Medicare supplement claims?
Yes, there is a time limit. Claims should be filed as soon as reasonably possible. In most states, claims must be filed within one year from the time proof of loss is required, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Who can report the death of a Thrivent member?
Anyone can report the loss of a loved one. You don’t have to be a beneficiary.
