Join us in bringing our 2027 calendar theme, “God’s Handiwork,” to life. Inspired by the Greek word poiēma, found in Ephesians 2:10 and Romans 1:20 and meaning “that which has been made,” this theme reflects the truth that creation, and even our own lives, are crafted with beauty, intention and artistry.
God’s handiwork surrounds us every day: in the glow of morning light, the strength of the mountains, the rhythm of the sea, the delicate details of a flower and the quiet moments of kindness and peace that shape our world.
We invite you to submit original photos or artwork that capture these glimpses of God’s creativity, images that inspire awe, gratitude, joy or peace. Your work can help tell the story of a world lovingly shaped by God’s hand.

Please include a description of your photo or artwork, explaining its content and how it connects to the theme, "God's Handiwork". If your entry is selected for the calendar, your description may be featured alongside it. All submissions must be original photography or artwork and should be submitted electronically using the online entry form below. Entries will be reviewed, and selections will be made by the end of August.

Thrivent clients with membership can request one calendar at no cost. Calendars will be mailed after printing in early October. A Thrivent Tradition Continues
For nearly 30 years, Thrivent’s annual calendar has been a meaningful tradition—created by and for our membership. Each year, the featured photos are submitted by Thrivent clients and friends in response to social media posts and invitations in Thrivent Magazine, making the calendar a true reflection of our community.
As always, the calendar is available at no cost to clients with membership. If you’d like additional copies—while supplies last—simply contact your Financial Advisor. It’s a wonderful way to share inspiration with friends, family, schools and churches.
