John C. Rademacher
Board Member
John Rademacher has been a member of the Thrivent Board of Directors since 2026. He serves on the Human Resource & Governance committee.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, Rademacher has become a significant changemaker in the healthcare industry by successfully deploying innovative and strategic operational, clinical, and technology solutions while improving quality and expanding access to care. His experience in leading through change and transforming businesses for growth will help support the Thrivent Leadership team and the mission. Under his guidance, Rademacher will help ensure Thrivent remains strong and stable while empowering its workforce to help people achieve financial clarity, so they can make the most of what they’ve been given.
Rademacher is President and Chief Executive Officer of Option Care Health (NASDAQ:OPCH) the nation’s leading provider of home and alternate site infusion services. Before stepping into this role in 2017, Rademacher served as Chief Operating Officer of the company from 2015-2017. Under his leadership, Option Care Health has delivered strong growth and increased care quality by investing in their people, process, technology and capabilities to provide the most advanced infusion therapies, nursing support and seamless care for patients in their homes or one of their many infusion suites.
Prior to his tenure at Option Care Health, Rademacher held various executive-level positions at leading healthcare companies, including Cardinal Health where he served as President and General Manager for both the Ambulatory Care Division and the Nuclear and Pharmacy Services divisions. He also acted as President of CareAllies and Chief Operating Officer for the CIGNA Behavioral Health business at Cigna Corporation.
Rademacher serves on the boards of directors of Option Care Health and the National Home Infusion Association.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Hillsdale College and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University.
