Giving Tuesday

Rooted in generosity, Giving Tuesday is a one-day event where we come together in support of communities and causes. Each contribution—big or small—is an act of generosity that helps bring about meaningful change. Please join us to support Roots for Boots.

Dinner at Hanover Country Club

200 Water Street Abbottstown PA
Doors open at 5 p.m.

We are honored to welcome Chris Langlois, grandson of medic Eugene Gilbert “Doc” Roe, Sr. from the legendary Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, as our featured speaker. This legendary unit of American paratroopers during World War II was known for its extraordinary bravery, tight-knit brotherhood, and resilience under fire. First brought to the public eye in 1992 by historian Stephen Ambrose's book, "Band of Brothers", these soldiers became internationally famous by the HBO mini-series under the same name, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. Their story is often cited as a powerful example of leadership, sacrifice, and camaraderie in the face of overwhelming odds. Chris will share powerful stories that carry forward the legacy of courage, service, and sacrifice.

In the spirit of giving back, we are proud to support the mission of Roots for Boots on this special day of giving. Roots for Boots is a grassroots organization that provides direct assistance to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, whether it’s helping with mobility equipment, home repairs, camaraderie or everyday needs. Their hands-on, community-driven approach ensures that support goes exactly where it’s needed most for our service men and women.

Dinner will be provided, and we hope you’ll join us for this special opportunity to connect, reflect, and give back.

Seating is limited. Please register today.
