The Thrivent Member Network-Iowa/Southern Minnesota is hosting a Christmas concert with Mac Powell (former lead singer of Third Day) and Matt Maher (three-time Dove Award winner). The two are joining together to bring us the sounds of Christmas for an exclusive one-of-a-kind performance that will fill your heart with joy this holiday season. Join us on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at The Englert Theatre in Iowa City. Concert doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.

We will be joined by our non-profit partner, HACAP. HACAP (Hawkeye Area Community Action Program) is a nonprofit committed to enhancing the lives of families and individuals in our communities. HACAP breaks down the barriers of poverty through a wide range of programs and services tailored to meet the diverse needs of those they serve. Tickets are general admission and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and will arrive in your email account from ticketoffice@unwsp.edu. Ticket distribution begins December 2.

We are excited to be partnering with Des Moines Public Schools (DMPS) to serve preschool through 12th grade students in need of new winter gear in lieu of the price of tickets. We ask that all guests support this vital mission by bringing donations of new coats, gloves, hats, scarves, snowpants for boys and girls to be warm and active this winter! For more than 100 years, the Des Moines Independent Community School District has been providing an outstanding education to the students of our community. This school district is a leader and innovator in public education, offering families some of the best educational choices in Iowa. We are honored to serve their mission this holiday season.
