    Augustana Christmas Vespers: O Come Let Us Adore Him
    Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5500 E 57th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57108
    Augustana proudly presents Christmas Vespers, "O Come Let Us Adore Him." Through music, word and light, the university will embrace the spirit of Advent and reflect on the joyous anticipation of the Christmas season.

    The services will feature Augustana’s choirs, percussion ensemble and the Augustana Brass Choir. Christmas Vespers 2025 will include evening services and a Saturday afternoon service for those who are young in age or young at heart. After each service, enjoy fellowship accompanied by holiday cookies and refreshments — provided by Thrivent.

    Create More Breathing Room with Money Canvas

    Money Canvas is a free online program that helps you build healthier budgeting, saving, and spending habits. Over the course of three virtual sessions with your Money Coach, you will build confidence and learn to manage your money mindfully while working together to help free up more money to put toward your financial priorities. Your Coach will stick with you throughout the program and help you build new money management skills at your own pace. Each session tackles a unique aspect of day-to-day finances. Coaching is available in English and Spanish.

    How Money Canvas Works:
    Sign up and be paired with a personalized Money Coach for three 1-hour virtual sessions where you’ll learn financial concepts and try out new behaviors in a judgment-free zone. Through visuals and friendly sales-free conversations, you will learn:
    • A simple way to create a budget.
    • Practical steps you can take to trim expenses.
    • A realistic plan to tame overspending.

    We all want to give back, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin.

    We’re here to help you make a difference. Simply gather a team of friends, family or neighbors to put on a fundraiser, educational event or service activity. We’ll provide the resources you need to get started – including up to $250 in seed money. Once your application is approved, we’ll send you a package of customized resources and digital tools to kick-start your project.

    The Thrivent Action Kit is also available en español. If you live or work in a Spanish-speaking community, this customized kit will inspire you and your team throughout your project.

    Your kit may include:
    • Live Generously® T-shirts
    • Thank you cards, name tags and stickers
    • A Community Impact Card with up to $250 in seed money
    We’ll also provide these digital tools:
    • A personalized project webpage to share with your community
    • An RSVP feature to invite friends and family to collect RSVPs online
    • Photo upload tool to collect and share photos
