Tornado Relief Efforts
Thrivent is coming alongside you to provide support to those affected by the devastating tornadoes.

We need your help:

1. Make a donation; Thrivent will boost it! Donate online to support disaster relief efforts. For every $2 you donate through Thrivent’s online giving platform to one of the organizations listed below, Thrivent will add $1*. Thrivent will also pay all the processing fees so 100% will go directly to the organization**.
- Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region
- Convoy of Hope
- United Way Fox Cities
2. Apply to lead a Thrivent Action Team. Jump into action and lead a Thrivent Action Team with your friends, family and co-workers. Use promo code “Disaster 2026” and you will receive your kit within two business days of approval. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Collect items for local food pantries.
- Start a fundraiser to send financial support to organizations helping with relief efforts.
- Lead a packing event to put together much needed cleaning supplies or hygiene kits.
3. Direct Choice Dollars^® If you are a Thrivent client with membership, direct your available Choice Dollars to organizations helping with Disaster Response.

*Thrivent will provide a $1 match for every $2 donated through this disaster response campaign. This match will run until the $60,000 cap is met or September 28, 2026, the sooner of the two. Donations must be made through Thrivent's online giving platform. Donations raised through this campaign will go towards the WI Tornado/Severe Weather Disaster Response. **Thrivent will pay up to $1,000,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.

Thrivent Cans Hunger - Saint Joseph Food Program

On Thursday, September 17 from 3:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m., join us in making a meaningful difference in our community through the Thrivent "Cans" Hunger collection benefiting local organizations. Together, we can help provide much-needed items and support families facing food insecurity. For every non-perishable food item donated, the Thrivent Member Network - Wisconsin Upper Michigan Area will donate $3 per item up to $3,000.*

What Items are most needed?
- Cereal & Oatmeal
- Canned vegetables, including low sodium
- Canned fruit, including "No Sugar" or packed in water
- Canned tuna & chicken
- Peanut butter & jelly, including sugar free
- Meal mixes & sides
- Soup
- Rice & pasta
- Sugar-free, low sodium and gluten-free items for Food Farmacy
Drop off details

Look for the Thrivent tent in the parking lot. Donate and enjoy a special surprise and delight as our way of saying "thank you" - while supplies last. Your donation—whether it’s canned goods, pantry staples, or other nonperishable items—will go directly toward helping neighbors in need. Every contribution, big or small, helps fill shelves, brings hope, and shows the power of generosity in action.
No products will be sold.

On Friday, September 18 from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., join us in making a meaningful difference in our community through the Thrivent "Cans" Hunger collection benefiting local organizations. Together, we can help provide much-needed items and support families facing food insecurity. The first 80 adults dropping off a nonperishable food donation will receive a sandwich from AJ's Riverside Coffee and a cookie from Baked: Cakes by Design compliments of Thrivent.
