Support Nevada Wildfire Relief

When tragedy strikes, Thrivent clients and the community often want to reach out and help. That spirit of compassion is needed now more than ever as catastrophic wildfires have deeply affected families and communities across Reno, Nevada. Thrivent is coming alongside you to support those impacted by the devastation.

We need your help:

1.      Make a donation; Thrivent will boost it!
Donate online to support disaster relief efforts . For every $2 you donate through Thrivent’s online giving platform, Thrivent will add $1*. Thrivent will also pay all the processing fees so 100% will go directly to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada or the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.

2. Apply to lead a Thrivent Action Team. Jump into action and lead a Thrivent Action Team with your friends, family and co-workers. Use promo code “Disaster 2026” and you will receive your kit within two business days of approval. Here are some ideas to get you started:
·       Collect items for local food pantries.
·       Start a fundraiser to send financial support to organizations helping with relief efforts.
·       Lead a packing event to put together much needed cleaning supplies or hygiene kits.

3.     Direct Choice Dollars^® If you are a Thrivent client with membership, direct your available Choice Dollars to organizations helping with Disaster Response.

*Thrivent will provide a $1 match for every $2 donated to organization(s) featured in this disaster response campaign. This match will run until the $20,000 cap is met or October 26, 2026, the sooner of the two. Donations must be made through Thrivent's online giving platform. Donations raised through this campaign will go towards the Reno Wildfire Disaster Response.

**Thrivent will pay up to $1,000,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.

Thrivent Choice® is a fraternal activity that gives clients with membership a voice in Thrivent’s charitable giving. While members recommend organizations to receive funding, Thrivent maintains final authority over all charitable distributions. By participating, you agree to the program’s Terms and Conditions available at thrivent.com/thriventchoice.

Living out Thrivent’s mission means coming together to make a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work. Through Give Day, Your Way, each Thrivent Member Network can support a local nonprofit whose work reflects the needs and priorities of its community.

That’s why Thrivent Member Network—Desert Southwest is partnering with United Way of Southern Nevada. Their work strengthens families, supports youth, promotes financial stability, and helps build healthier, more resilient neighborhoods across Southern Nevada.

Now through October 30, 2026, we’re working to raise $40,000 for this important community effort. For every $2 donated through Thrivent’s online fundraising platform or at an in-person event, Thrivent will match $1—up to $20,000 in matching funds.
