Rooted in generosity, Giving Tuesday is a one-day event where we come together in support of communities and causes. Each contribution—big or small—is an act of generosity that helps bring about meaningful change.

Join us in supporting Call To Freedom on Tuesday, December 2. For every $2 donated to Call To Freedom on Thrivent’s online giving platform and at in-person events, Thrivent will match $1 up to a total of $20,000 per Thrivent Member Network.* Thrivent will take care of all processing fees so your gift goes even further. Your donation helps to support their mission of bringing hope and wholeness to all individuals impacted by sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and commercial sexual exploitation by navigating a healing path through their continuum of care model.

Morning: Support the mission of Call To Freedom and grab your morning coffee anytime from 6:30-9:00am at Zooks Coffee Bar (815 N Gateway Ln, Tea). Stop by our table to learn more and support their mission.

Noon: Stop at their new location (4501 S Technology Dr, Sioux Falls) from 11:00-1:00pm for an open house event featuring free lunch from local food trucks, card making for survivors, and guided tours of the new facility. This is a great opportunity to learn more about their mission, connect with the community, and show appreciation for those who help make a difference.

Evening: Join us at Embrace Church - Westside (100 N Ebenezer Avenue, Sioux Falls) from 6:30-8:00pm for Keeping Kids Safe Online: A practical training for parents and caregivers. This hands-on training is designed to equip parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge to protect kids in today’s digital world. The free event will provide real case insights and expert guidance to help you support vulnerable individuals in your community.

Augustana proudly presents Christmas Vespers, "O Come Let Us Adore Him." Through music, word and light, the university will embrace the spirit of Advent and reflect on the joyous anticipation of the Christmas season.

The services will feature Augustana’s choirs, percussion ensemble and the Augustana Brass Choir. Christmas Vespers 2025 will include evening services and a Saturday afternoon service for those who are young in age or young at heart. After each service, enjoy fellowship accompanied by holiday cookies and refreshments — provided by Thrivent.

Money Canvas is a free online program that helps you build healthier budgeting, saving, and spending habits. Over the course of three virtual sessions with your Money Coach, you will build confidence and learn to manage your money mindfully while working together to help free up more money to put toward your financial priorities. Your Coach will stick with you throughout the program and help you build new money management skills at your own pace. Each session tackles a unique aspect of day-to-day finances. Coaching is available in English and Spanish.
