Thrivent and Folkways invites you to celebrate the holiday season at Christkindlmarkt!

Bring the whole family and join Thrivent at the Craft Corner on November 22nd from 12-4pm. Help us fill cute stuffed animals (think Build-A-Bear) to donate to a child in need in our area and you'll get to keep one too! We've also designed a custom coloring book that you can keep that tells the story of a polar bear and penguin who help their other animal friends! Come enjoy the market and give back!

Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, is an opportunity to make our community stronger, one act of giving at a time. And to make your giving go further, Thrivent is partnering with the non-profit YouthWorks! This year on Giving Tuesday, Thrivent will amplify your impact by matching $1 for every $2 raised*. Plus, all online processing fees will be covered by Thrivent, meaning 100% of your gift will go right to our organization.

Youthworks mission is to help ensure all youth have a safe place to belong and be heard. Youthworks was established in 1979 as Mountain Plains Youth Services Coalition and has been providing direct services since 1986 in Bismarck and 1991 in Fargo. Our focus and expertise is in working with teens, parents and young adults under 22 years of age. Most of the services are free and when there is a charge it is based on a family's ability to pay.

This Giving Tuesday, YouthWorks is raising funds for the creation of a 25-unit Transitional Living Community in downtown Moorhead. Each unit serves as a private home where youth can build independence. Shared kitchen, gathering and learning spaces will foster connection and daily living skills. This community will offer on-site drop-in and Life Skills Center offering education and job coaching, budgeting and life-skills support and wellness and emotion health activities.

Get ready for a sleigh-full of holiday cheer! Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Smiles for Jake invite the community to celebrate the season at Crosby Memorial Park. This family-friendly event is free, open to all ages, and promises to bring joy to the Crosby community.
