$10 was donated to a highlighted non-profit for each vehicle that participated PLUS 2 trees were planted for each attendee through the Arbor Day Foundation’s tree planting efforts.

Community impact at a glance:

• Columbus: $630 donated / 134 trees
• Lincoln: $390 donated / 90 trees
• Springfield: $370 donated / 106 trees
• Grand Island: $360 donated / 100 trees
• Omaha: $630 donated / 152 trees
• Norfolk: $520 donated / 126 trees

✨ Totals: $2,900 donated, 708 trees planted, and ~16,000 lbs of paper collected!

The Thrivent Member Network – Nebraska Region hosted its annual Fall Food Shelf Challenge to address the growing need for food security. The first 50 Thrivent clients to join committed to collecting at least 500 non‑perishable items for their local food shelf, with each organization receiving a $500 generosity multiplier.
Together, these efforts provided:

• 🥫 60,392 items collected
• 💵 $5,948 donated
• 🙌 2,867 volunteers contributing 1,992 hours
• ❤️ $25,000 donated by the Thrivent Member Network to 50 food shelves across 35 Nebraska counties

We are thankful for our clients for inspiring their communities to #LiveGenerously in towns including Albion, Atkinson, Aurora, Battle Creek, Beatrice, Bellevue, Bennington, Coleridge, Columbus, Emerson-Hubbard, Fairbury, Filley, Fremont, Gretna, Hastings, Hickman, Johnson, Kearney, Kenesaw, Lexington, Lincoln, Madison, Neligh, Norfolk, Omaha, Papillion, Plattsmouth, Plymouth, Randolph, Seward, St. Paul, Syracuse, Utica, West Point, and York

One submission per church/group/food shelf and one Generosity Multiplier Gift per submission, up to a maximum of $500. The challenge will provide gifts up to the total of $25,000.
