Operation BBQ Relief
Bringing Hope, One Hot Meal at a Time
Founded by big-hearted Kansas City Pitmasters after the devastating 2011 tornado in Joplin, Missouri, Operation BBQ Relief has been a beacon of hope ever since. We're not just a disaster relief nonprofit; we're a family of compassionate individuals dedicated to serving those in need.
Since our humble beginnings, we've provided over 11,000,000 hot meals to residents, first responders, and relief workers. But our commitment extends beyond disaster response. Through initiatives like the Always Serving Project and Camp OBR, we serve our Military, Veterans, Families of the Fallen, First Responders, and their Families every single day of the year.
Our Impact Since 2011
- Total Meals Provided: 11,046,744
- Number of Disaster Deployments: 105
- Number of Days Deployed: 1397
- Number of States Deployed: 32 + Bahamas
Your donation will help us continue our mission of bringing hope, one meal at a time, to those who need it most.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to us.
