Mutual Funds

Whether you're saving for a home or retirement, you want a strategy to help you invest wisely. With so many options, you may not know where to start. Consider mutual funds. They're easy to invest in (you can get started with a low initial payment) and put professional money managers on your side.

With mutual funds and investments you can:

  • Select from a range of conservative to aggressive mutual funds.
  • Choose from stocks, bonds or a mix of stocks and bonds.
  • Take advantage of investment professionals, who manage the mutual funds.
  • Move between funds in the same mutual fund family.
  • Access your assets when you need them.

Which Mutual Funds May Be Right for You?

It all depends on your stage in life, financial goals and the level of risk you are willing to accept in exchange for potential return. Your Thrivent Financial representative can help you determine what mix may be right for you. In the meantime, you'll find all of our Thrivent Mutual Fund investment options – listed according to potential risk and return – in the chart below.

I Shares

By investing a sizeable amount, churches, institutions, organizations and retirement plan sponsors can purchase a special share class of Thrivent Mutual Funds called Class I shares (or institutional shares). In exchange, they pay no sales charges and relatively low operating expenses.

Individual investors can also invest in I shares through certain Thrivent managed accounts. By doing so, you benefit from personalized service and active portfolio management in exchange for a fee that's based on your total invested assets.
