Turning hope into reality

On Oct. 29, 2016, the American Cancer Society recognized Thrivent Financial with one of its highest honors, the Spirit of Hope Award. The honor is given each year to organizations and individuals who distinguish themselves in the fight against cancer. Among other initiatives, 2016 marked the second year in a row that Thrivent served as a national corporate sponsor of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event.

Pint-sized chefs serve up generosity

Look around and you’ll see that generosity comes in all shapes, sizes – and ages. Just ask Amy Gutierrez. Like many Thrivent members, she wanted to make a difference in her community. A Thrivent Action Team was a great way to show her daughter, Kayla, that even though she was only 10 years old, she could “live generously,” too – and have fun doing it!
