New book draws upon religious art to inspire readers and spark contemplation on compassion, giving and sacrifice

Inspiring Generosity: Stories of Faith and Grace in Art, a new book from The Thrivent Collection of Religious Art (“the collection”), presents forty original prints, drawings and illuminated manuscripts spanning eight centuries of Western art history. With pieces from prominent artists like Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn and Édouard Manet, the artworks highlight examples of compassion, giving and sacrifice. Each piece is presented with commentary that provides art historical, theological and devotional insights.

Thrivent announces matching opportunity to help victims impacted by recent flooding and tornadoes

Thrivent, a not-for-profit membership organization of Christians, today announced it will match one dollar for every two dollars made in personal donations on to featured organizations supporting victims impacted by recent flooding and tornadoes. Thrivent will match up to $250,000. In addition, the organization is encouraging its members to volunteer by forming Thrivent Action Teams or for eligible members to consider directing Thrivent Choice Dollars to relief organizations.

Thrivent Mutual Funds named one of Barron's Best Fund Families in 2018

Thrivent Mutual Funds has been named as the no. 4 fund family in Barron’s annual ranking of the Best Fund Families of 2018 based on performance for the year ending on December 31, 2018. The firm outranked more than 90 percent of the fund families included in the ranking. The magazine article, which published on March 8, 2019, recognized a total of 57 fund families for this year’s fund family ranking. In addition, Thrivent Mutual Funds came in at an no. 3 out of 55 funds in the five-year ranking category.

Thrivent Mutual Funds wins seven Lipper Awards in 2019

Thrivent Mutual Funds has been honored with seven 2019 Lipper Awards from Refinitiv for its Small Cap Stock Fund, Mid Cap Stock Fund and Aggressive Allocation Stock Fund, and earned a group award for the performance of its mixed assets class. The annual awards, which were presented at a gala in New York City last evening, recognize the performance of funds and fund management firms over three, five and 10-year periods. Since 2008, Thrivent Mutual Funds has received a total of 25 Lipper Awards.
