IRAs
Many experts estimate that people need 70-80% of their pre-retirement income when they stop working. Social Security or an employee pension will only account for a small percentage of this need. An IRA offers a tax-advantaged way to save for the difference.   white space Man fishing

Consider these two common types of IRAs:

  • Traditional IRAs allow for tax-deductible contributions and tax-deferred growth, and are taxed upon withdrawal.
  • Roth IRAs use after-tax contributions, and offer tax-deferred growth and tax-free withdrawals.

You may also be able to roll over your retirement accounts into a single, consolidated IRA. Learn more
