Easy on the eyes, easy-to-find information and up-to-date links lead to Web Site of the Month honor

Congratulations to the leaders of the Goodhue County Chapter (Minnesota), especially to chapter vice president and Web site administrator Shirley Perrotti, whose site has been named Chapter Web Site of the Month for January.

This site is easy to read and navigate, and each section is designed well.

"Our objective is to have a site that has current information about our chapter and the chapter programs, as well up-to-date forms they can use," says Shirley. "I encourage every chapter to update its site to keep members up-to-date. The chapter Web site program is user-friendly, and the Web site support staff has been very helpful in finding different solutions for me. I enjoy working on the site."

Features that helped make this site a winner include:

  • Up-to-date information.
  • A Chapter Leader Roles and Responsbilities page that lists each chapter leader position and links the user to the appropriate position description and quick-reference guide about the position.
  • An excellent Congregations In Our Chapter page that includes maps, links to and images of each church.
  • A description of the three chapter Care programs.
  • Direct links to program forms and materials on thrivent.com. The advantage of these direct links is that if Thrivent Financial updates a particular form, the link to the form on the chapter Web site will automatically be up-to-date.
  • Chapter meeting minutes.
  • Excellent recognition of volunteers in the Events and Pictures section.

We encourage you to visit the site at www.lutheransonline.com/goodhuecountychapter. Great job, Shirley!
