Volunteer Resources

The Volunteer Resources section is designed especially for members who are participating in chapter activities as part of a chapter service team. It includes tools to help volunteers plan, conduct, report and publicize their activities.

Note: You may notice that some of the links/resources in this section also are in other sections of Members/Chapters. We have included some links/resources in more than one section to make it easier for members to find appropriate information in one section instead of having to navigate to various sections within Members/Chapters.

Volunteer Resources Page

It includes...
  • Tutorials/Quick References — Volunteers can learn specifics about the chapter system through these easy-to-use training tools.
  • Chapter Care Programs — Volunteers can go here to learn the basics about Thrivent Financial's three chapter Care programs, which they can use to help others, their congregations and their communities. A comparison chart of the three programs also is included here.
  • Forms — Volunteers can access and print various forms and resources to help them plan, conduct, report and publicize their chapter activities.
  • Ask CHIP (CHapter Information Place) — Volunteers can get answers to their questions about chapter-related policies, procedures and topics by going to this helpful online resource guide and search vehicle.
  • JOIN HANDS DAY — Volunteers can get information about this national day of service that Thrivent Financial cosponsors, including tips for planning, conducting and reporting activities associated with this special day.
  • View Leadership & Activities— Members can go here to view contact information of the chapter leaders for their assigned chapter; view contact information of the congregational coordinators for their congregation; view chapter activities taking place in their assigned chapter; and link to their assigned chapter's Web site.
  • Leadership Roles/Descriptions— Members can go here to read chapter leader position descriptions and the congregational coordinator position description.
  • Leadership Interest Form— Members can go here to express their interest in possibly becoming a chapter leader or congregational coordinator.
  • ABC 1-2-3 Activity Planning Tool — Volunteers can use this excellent tool to help identify, organize, plan and implement community service team activities. Note: This link will bring you outside of the Members/Chapters area on our site. To get back to the Members/Chapters area, you can use either the Back arrow (located on the top of your toolbar) or click on the Members/Chapters tab at the top of the page.
  • Visibility Toolkit — Volunteers are encouraged to use this excellent tool to help publicize and bring visibility to their chapter activities.
