2. Participation. All members of this chapter shall have the right to attend meetings of this chapter and express their views to the Leadership Board regarding issues presented. Reasonable notice of chapter meetings shall be provided to chapter members.

4. Notices. Notice of meetings may be provided by mail, internet communications, electronic communication or other means that provides reasonable notice to members. Notice of special meetings of this chapter shall include the general nature of the business to be conducted at the special meeting.

All members of the chapter have a right to attend chapter meetings; therefore, reasonable notice of chapter meetings must be provided to chapter members. This notice may be provided by mail, Internet communication, electronic communication (e.g., e-mail) or other means that provides reasonable notice to members. Personal invitations to each member are not required.

For example, chapter leaders should communicate meeting dates, times and places to members in one of its mailings through the chapter mailing service. (A chapter leadership board may want to establish a regular meeting day and place for the year that can be communicated early in the year.)

Chapter Web sites are an ideal and acceptable place to communicate meeting dates, times and places.
