Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity Week in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

"Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity Week" in Milwaukee runs from May 5 through 9. Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are hosting this special week that will make a tremendous impact on partner families, volunteers and the community:

• Hundreds of Thrivent Financial members and other volunteers will be lending their hands to accelerate the construction of eight of the 10 Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity homes in Milwaukee's Harambee neighborhood.
  
  
• Each day, approximately 170 Thrivent Financial members and others volunteers from across southeast Wisconsin will come to the neighborhood and work with future homeowners to build the homes.
  
  
• One of the homes will be framed at Miller Park, home of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. On Friday, May 9, a check and key presentation will occur on the field during a pregame ceremony.
  
  
• Two of the homes will be framed in one week and anyone can see how it's done by going to the live video on the Thrivent Builds Web site at www.thriventbuilds.com. Be sure to check back throughout the week to see the progress.
