Protecting member information is a responsibility that Thrivent Financial
for Lutherans takes very seriously. Our online security ensures that only
the people with the appropriate authorization receive access to certain information.
Part of this security involves the use of user IDs and passwords.
For Thrivent Financial members to enter the Members/Chapters area
of www.thrivent.com, they need to complete a simple one-time registration.
Through this registration process, they identify a user ID
and password that will permit them to enter the Members/Chapters
area in the future.
Thrivent Financial has taken steps to make all the information members give
us on the Internet as secure as possible against unauthorized access and use,
alteration and/or loss. Click here for brief details
about security on Thrivent Financial's Web site.
Important: do not share your login information with anyone!
Some chapter leaders and congregational coordinators have provided their login
information to others so they can help with chapter-related tasks. However,
with the single user ID process, anyone with your login and password also
has access to your account information and other secured personal information
on the site.
Passwords are to computers as keys are to your home. If you have someone
helping you with online chapter business, you should log in to the Members/Chapters
area yourself instead of providing the login information to them.
Note: Financial directors also need access to their online chapter checking
account at Thrivent Financial Bank. For information about access to this online
banking, financial directors should read Understanding
Your Role - Financial Director Quick Reference for details.
