Teleconferencing
services
Except for meetings where chapter leadership board members are elected (these must be held in person), the chapter leadership board may conduct its regular meetings via teleconference. In addition, teleconferencing is an excellent way for congregational service team directors to communicate with many or all of a chapter's congregational coordinators at one time.
It is appropriate and encouraged to use chapter operating funds to pay teleconferencing service expenses.
Two options for teleconferencing are available:
Directions for using ConferencePlus
- Before using the teleconference service for the first time, call 1-800-866-0888 to set up an account and receive your dial-in information.
- Let the meeting consultant know that you are a chapter leader for a Thrivent Financial for Lutherans chapter. Your customer profile number is 193512. If you do not identify yourself correctly, billing may be delayed or you may be billed at an incorrect rate.
- Set up the account under the chapter's name (e.g., Southeast Outagamie County Chapter), not a person's name.
- Provide the meeting consultant with the name and address of the chapter leader who will receive and pay the bills (i.e., financial director).
The chapter leader whose name and address is on the account will receive a wallet card for dialing in. Your chapter’s personalized ConferenceAnytime™ access information appears on the front of the card and additional instructions are provided on the back of the card for accessing and managing your ConferenceAnytime™ meetings. To ensure your ConferenceAnytime™ meetings are secure, please keep your moderator code confidential and distribute the passcode only to authorized attendees.
The chapter leadership board is responsible for keeping its account up-to-date (i.e., paying the bills and keeping the name on the account current as chapter leader changes occur).
For more information about the ConferenceAnytime™ service, visit the ConferencePlus Web site at www.conferenceplus.com or contact a ConferencePlus meeting consultant at 1-800-866-0888.
