If your chapter leadership board conducts a chapter meeting using the online chat room on your chapter Web site, you can get a complete transcript of the meeting. This eliminates having to compile and distribute meeting minuteschapter leaders can access and print transcripts directly from the chapter Web site on Lutherans Online.
Instructions for using transcript feature
In the chat room, just before a meeting is scheduled to begin, a chapter site administrator clicks the Start New Transcript button located on the lower-right side of the page. (Only site administrators can see this button.) This will capture all messages posted in the chat room since the last time the button was clicked. Then click Continue.
When the meeting ends, a site administrator types in a name for the transcript in the "Transcript Name" field and clicks Save Transcript. Tip: For easy reference, use the meeting date as the name of the transcript.
A site administrator then creates a link to the transcript from the chapter Web site. This is a one-time only process. Future transcripts will automatically save to the area you designate.
