Funds: Care Abounds in Communities® funds — handling
requests after all funds distributed
If your chapter has used
most or all of its Care Abounds in Communities® funds for the year, here
are some options your leadership board can consider as you review requests:
- Other chapters may
be able to assist. Check if the service team requested or received funding
from another chapter. You may decide to decline the request because another
chapter has assisted.
- Suggest the service
team consider hosting a locally supported activity that doesn't use funding
from the chapter Care programs, yet provides needed help to the recipient.
- Discuss what other
community services may be available to meet the need and share that information
with the service team contact.
- Suggest the service
team postpone its activity until next year.
