HANDS DAY
JOIN HANDS DAY is an annual
national volunteer day sponsored by America's fraternal benefit societies,
including Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, in partnership with the Points of
Light Foundation and the Volunteer Center National Network. The purpose of this
special day is for youth and adults to come together to identify, plan and conduct
a service project(s) in their community to address a need. As a sponsor of this
day, Thrivent Financial strongly encourages community and congregational service
teams to partner with youth to complete a JOIN HANDS DAY project. To learn more
