A community service team contact person is a Thrivent Financial for Lutherans member who the chapter leadership board and volunteers should contact with any questions about a particular activity that benefits an individual, family or qualified not-for-profit organization through the Care Abounds in Communities® program. This person: Assures that at least six Thrivent Financial members from different households are involved in volunteer efforts that qualify for Care Abounds in Communities® program funding. Provides leadership to the episodic volunteer efforts of a community service team. May request funding from the chapter leadership board for the volunteer efforts. Reports activity information to the chapter leadership board. Communicates with the chapter leadership board as needed. Assures that funding is used as intended.
