Funds remaining for any of the chapter Care programs by the activity request deadline do not carry over to the following year. These funds are returned to the corporate fraternal budget for other benevolent outreach efforts. However, chapter operating funds remaining at year-end do carry over to the following year. Accumulating or investing operating funds from year to year is inappropriate. Operating funds are intended to be used in the year provided. As a general rule, carry no more than 10 percent of the chapter's annual allocation to the next year.
