chat rooms are intended to encourage open discussion and sharing of
ideas in a safe, family-oriented environment. Please assist us in
maintaining the Members Only section on the site as an open and happy
atmosphere for all.
We make very few requests of our members. However, there are a
few rules that we all must follow:
1. Members Chat is family-oriented. Do not post any messages or
upload any files that contain any profane, obscene, threatening,
or offensive language or images. Violations of this rule will result
in the revocation of your access to the chat rooms.
2. Any problems, suggestions or concerns should be directed to
Thrivent Financial (mail@thrivent.com).
If you observe someone using Members Chat rooms inappropriately,
please send an e-mail with details to Thrivent Financial (mail@thrivent.com).
3. Any concerns or questions regarding business with Thrivent
Financial should be sent to the home office (mail@thrivent.com)
rather than using the chat rooms.
4. Real names are preferred when using Thrivent Financial's online
community features. We believe the candid nature of our community
helps keep it free from inappropriate material. Always use caution
and common sense when placing personal information anywhere on the
Internet, including the Thrivent Financial Web site. 5. Any request
for confidential information regarding a member certificate, Thrivent
Investment Management Inc. mutual fund account, Thrivent Financial
Bank account or any other confidential Thrivent Financial matter
will be answered using current business practices, i.e. by phone,
mail or personal financial representative contact.
6. We do not allow any form of commercial advertising in the Members
Only section on the Web. Do not advertise your personal business
products or services in Members Chat rooms.
7. No solicitation of members of the Members Only section is allowed.
Please do not send direct mail marketing materials to any member
of the Members Only section of the site.
8. Your financial representative with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
may or may not be a member of the Members Only section and is not
required to join, although all financial representatives have access
to Internet e-mail. You can send your FR an e-mail message by going
to his or her home page in the locate your Thrivent
Financial representative feature in the public section of Thrivent
Financial's Web site.
