Fund Information

Investment Objective
  • Thrivent Partner Small Cap Growth Fund seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital.

Investment Strategy

  • Invests in stocks of companies with market capitalizations up to $2.5 billion that the subadvisors have determined to have above average prospects for growth.
  • Turner Investment Partners uses its proprietary quantitative model to rank small cap companies by sector according to the size of the company, earnings growth rates, and projections, sales and revenue figures, risk and volatility measures, and trading volumes. It then uses fundamental and technical investment research techniques to identify attractive investments.
  • Transamerica Investment Management, LLC uses fundamental investment research techniques to identify companies that it believes have strong management, past records of success, and superior business models.

Benefits of Investing in the Thrivent Small Cap Growth Fund

  • Two proven managers; one common goal—Access the expertise of two proven small-cap growth management teams.
  • The best of both worlds—Turner Investment Partners employs a more aggressive, earnings momentum strategy, while Transamerica Investment Management applies a more conservative approach to the small-cap growth space and focuses on intense fundamental analysis and bottom-up investment techniques in identifying strong companies. In addition, this management team is only available from Thrivent  Asset Management.

Special Investment Risks

  • The Fund is exposed to the risks of investing in equity securities of smaller companies. Small company stock prices are generally more volatile than large company stock prices. These and other risks are described in the prospectus.
