	Wayne Sprick Fredericksburg, Virginia Mid-Atlantic Region It’s fitting that Wayne Sprick’s first extensive walk following a recent back surgery was done as part of a fundraiser. This is just one example of how Wayne, a Thrivent Financial regional support associate, is a servant who lives his faith, shares the mission of Thrivent Financial in both his professional and personal life, and leads by example. After a 13-month disability, Wayne donated nearly 100 hours planning for and participating in a walk-a-thon that helped raise $24,000 to send six college-age members of Redeemer Lutheran Church to work and teach in Zambia. His efforts were part of the hundreds of hours Wayne donates each year to the congregation as a member of several church committees and project teams. Wayne is an active member and participant of the Fredericksburg County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and is viewed by chapter leaders as the source of information and support for their many fund-raising and community-building efforts. His work in the community demonstrates his care and concern for the less fortunate members of his community. Examples include: Serving breakfast as part of a homeless-shelter fundraiser. Supporting a local food shelf through his participation in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Supporting the Angel Tree Prison Mission, which benefits the children of incarcerated parents, by coordinating his congregation’s annual contribution of gifts to the organization. Donating his time to a community “Festival of Trees,” which auctions trees for the benefit of an organization that provides homes for abused and single mothers. Wayne’s service is an excellent example to the new Thrivent Financial representatives he trains and mentors, helping to ensure his dedication to the community will be a part of the next generation of Thrivent Financial representatives.
