Many charitable organizations are supported through our local chapters and through our GivingPlus ® program, such as Cal Lutheran, Concordia, Orange Lutheran High School, L.A. Lutheran, Arizona Lutheran Academy and Valley Lutheran. In addition, we have made significant grants ($50,000 +) to the Navajo Evangelical Mission, Crean Lutheran School and the Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center.

Linda Witham, CFP®, ChFC, FIC
As a former assistant to the director of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, Linda had an opportunity to help families in need. Today, she continues to put her Lutheran values into action as a managing partner.
Linda joined Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in 1983. Since then, she has accomplished much in her career, including:
- CFP® certification granted by the CFP Board, Washinginton, D.C. (Insurance licensed through Thrivent Financial; securities licensed through Thrivent Investment Management Inc.)
- ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), a designation granted by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
- MDRT Member (Million Dollar Round Table), an independent association that is recognized as an international standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services industry.

Terry Wold, ChFC, FIC
Terry summarizes his outlook on life and his career in three words: "Enjoy the journey."
Terry started his journey with the organization in 1994 and has enjoyed the rewards of his passion, perseverence and hard work. He became a managing partner in 2001. His professional accomplishments include:
- ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), a designation granted by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
- FIC (Fraternal Insurance Counselor), a designation granted by the Fraternal Field Managers' Association.

Gregg A. Knudten, ChFC, CLU, FIC
"Life is great. Be the best you can." According to Gregg, these are words to live by-and they haven't failed him yet.
Gregg joined the organization in 1984 as a financial representative. Today, Gregg is committed to helping the professionals on his team "be the best they can be." He holds the following designations:
- ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), a designation granted by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
- CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), a designation granted by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

L. Karsten Lundring, CFP®, CLU
Karsten was "born and raised" in the financial services industry. The son of an insurance representative, Karsten knew at an early age that he wanted to help families prepare for their futures.
Since joining the organization in 1961, Karsten has achieved the following accomplishments:
- CFP® certification granted by CFP Board, Washington, D.C. (Insurance licensed through Thrivent Financial; securities licensed through Thrivent Investment Management Inc.)
- CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), a designation granted by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
- Concordia University – Irvine's prestigious Servant Leadership Award, received in 2008.
He and his wife, Kirsten, have two adult children who also are part of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans team.
