- Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity®: Helped build 13 homes in Iowa in 2007. Homes will be built in eight areas across Iowa in 2008, including three in the Des Moines area.
- Kids Against Hunger: Charitable food donation effort that helps feed millions of children throughout the world.
- Regionally hosted membership events, such as Lutheran Day at the I-Cubs, and Iowa Hawkeye/Iowa State Cyclone pre-game party events.

Thomas Hendricks
Tom believes in "finding the good in everything." And that's exactly what he has done as managing partner of the Greater Iowa Regional Financial Office.
Tom has followed a career path in the financial services industry for more than 20 years.
He joined Thrivent Financial in 2006 and has remained committed to helping people grow by building successful relationships. With Tom's guidance, members of his team continue to excel in their careers, achieving professional goals and receiving the support they need to make a profound impact in the communities they serve.
In addition to his career, Tom is committed to his family, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and their two children. His hobbies include fishing and golf. Tom and his family reside in Clear Lake, Iowa.
