Our members donated 462,595 volunteer hours to support more than 1,500 local activities in 2007. In addition, our regional financial office has helped raise more than $750,000 for the Midwest Athletes against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Fund.
Our team also is very involved in Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity®. During the past three years, we've helped build 30 homes with partner families in need of simple, decent, affordable housing.

Thomas Bruckner, ChFC, FIC
"The humble improve."
This simple, yet inspirational philosophy has guided Tom throughout his career. Since joining the organization as a financial representative in 2003, he has strived to provide his members with a higher level of service. And he has succeeded.
Tom earned the title of financial consultant in 2004 and senior financial consultant in 2006. In April 2008, he became managing partner of the Southeast Wisconsin Regional Financial Office. Other professional accomplishments include:
- ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), a designation granted by the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
- FIC (Fraternal Insurance Counselor), a designation granted by the Fraternal Field Manager's Association.
- MDRT Court of the Table.
- Member - Financial Planning Association.
- Member - NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
- NAFIC Quality Award.
- NAFIC President's Production Award.
Tom and his wife, Sabrina, have three children. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and water skiing. He also is active in Lutheran Community Services.
