During your first year, you will complete a comprehensive learning and development program to help you:

 Year-one learning
The financial representative career offers independence. But you’re never alone. We provide both formal and informal learning programs to help you succeed.

  • Regional financial office-sponsored training: Participate in team meetings, joint work and mentorship situations. Enhance your time management and relationship skills while you learn the business.
  • Computer-based product training: Independently complete computer-based training modules that provide an in-depth understanding of the product portfolio offered by Thrivent Financial.
  • Corporate learning: During your first year, you and other new financial representatives may qualify to attend a corporate workshop.  
  • Continuing education: Industry accreditation courses will be supported throughout your career, as well as programs designed by Thrivent Financial that can help enhance your knowledge and skills.
