Contracted as full-time financial representatives

Once contracted, you will have exciting opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives. You will spend time:

  • Contacting and meeting with clients.
  • Developing the skills necessary to help clients achieve their goals through the Thrivent Financial Advisory Process.
  • Establishing new relationships with clients.
  • Gathering sufficient information to identify opportunities to serve clients’ needs.

Year one
Based on the training and support received during the first year, you will be able to:

  • Successfully approach clients to schedule a meeting.
  • Successfully establish relationships with prospects.
  • Gather comprehensive data from clients to analyze their needs.
  • Present various solutions to meet client needs/goals.
  • Identify activity and/or production goals.
  • Maintain a consistent level of weekly appointments that generates sufficient production to meet goals.
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance and investment products.
  • Verbalize basic fraternal aspects of the organization.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for member files and business requirements.

First few years

During your career, your regional financial office and the corporate office will provide:

  • Performance management
