Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan
With Stafford loans you can pay for school and not worry about repaying your loans until six months after leaving school. The low variable rate, set annually by the Department of Education, is paid by the Federal government while you are in school and really helps make repayment easier once you're out of school.

Plus Loan
The Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) is an affordable way for parents of dependent students to help pay for college. This special loan allows parents to borrow all college fees, less any grants or student loan funds already approved, and pay the interest while their children are in school.

How to Apply
You can request an application packet by calling toll-free (866) 226-5225. Once you have received your packet, simply follow the instructions on the inside cover. After completing the appropriate sections, take the application to your school's financial aid office. They will complete their section and determine eligibility before forwarding it to Thrivent Financial Bank.
