As a child growing up on the Space Coast of Florida, Jeff Frost never dreamed his career would involve serving people in rural Wyoming.
It was after marrying his wife, Lynne, graduating from a Lutheran college and moving to the West that Jeff found himself on a path into window sales where he discovered his strong people skills. In watching Jeff’s growing success, his father-in-law, Don Fraker, saw a greater purpose Jeff’s talents with people could fulfill. Don encouraged him to meet with Tom Fabricius to discuss career opportunities in financial services. It was in this meeting that Jeff learned about the difference he could make by helping people meet their financial goals through a faith-based organization.
Early in his new career, Jeff learned about DWYSYWD—Do What You Said You Would Do. To him, this complex acronym means more than dependability—it means serving members with integrity in the good times and in the hard times, including the year he serviced 37 death claims. For members meeting with Jeff, it’s easy for them to see these strong values in action. Jeff often goes many extra miles to meet with a member, seeing that he lives and works in the least populated state. Since he started in1986, Jeff estimates that he’s traveled almost a million miles serving members.
Jeff not only travels great distances to meet with members; he also travels extensively pursuing his passion for the outdoors. He has hunted and fished throughout North America. He values his role as a steward of the earth and, in turn, is active in several habitat and wildlife conservation organizations.
Jeff’s other passion is spending time with Lynne and their family, including two grown sons, Heath and Ryan, and two granddaughters, McKenzie and Luci. Jeff and Lynne reside in Cheyenne, Wyo.
